DULUX 2025 FORECAST IS HERE

Sep 30, 2024 | Anoushka's Blog, Interior design and decoration

It’s that time of year again, Dulux are introducing three new colour palettes that reflect a need for uplifting and soothing spaces in time of uncertainty. Still, Recollect and Emerge are the 3 palettes with warmer undertones this year to evoke positivity and nurturing spaces. Rich burgundy hues are on the cards for this next year, and the continuation of olive and sage greens that we have come to love over recent years in interiors, this is certainly a colour that I and my clients have embraced in my designs. Check out the 3 palettes below, which is your fav?

EMERGE

Beautiful muted colours that are uplifting and almost pastel in shade, but never the less real colour is present in this palette. Warm lilacs perfect for bedrooms, stronger terracotta and yellows for a playful touch and neutral clay tones with soft blues and greens all come together on walls, in furnishing and accents to create interesting yet soft interiors.

STILL

This creation of serene interiors with enriched details. This means texture, and natural materials, earthy neutrals, with the addition of those greens we mentioned earlier. This trend is thoughtful and considered with a bias towards sustainability. Definitely my favourite palette and so easy to live with

RECOLLECT

This palette has a focus on heritage whilst a clash of modern glamour offers up a twist. Wine colours deliver on a feeling of richness and opulence. Whilst on the flip side with the economic downturn is a need for more affordable pieces and to seek out vintage finds that tell a story.  Fresh white, rich plums and dirty yellows and greens create a cosiness that we all want for our homes.

Happy decorating!
