Brief
To create an open plan kitchen, living and dining space with greater connection to the outdoors. Also to plan for seperate butlers pantry, laundry behind kitchen and to create a new main bedroom, walk in robe and ensuite taking this home from a 4 bed 2 bath home to a 5 bed 3 bath home.
Design
Working from my draftspersons plans we completely opened up the top level of this home. We also created more floor space by taking inside a balcony area that was rarely used. By doing so this made space for a new main bedroom with walk in robe and ensuite behind. Then flowing through into a new open plan kitchen and living space with huge stacking doors connecting to the garden and pool. Threading through a modern Hampton’s style, and using fresh whites, light timbers and deeper blues throughout creating a beautifully balanced and generously proportioned interior.
