Brief
Reduce the timber panelling and bring light into the home, especially the dining area at the centre of terrace. Update look and feel including opening ground floor to create a connection with the outdoors.
Design
Removed wall between kitchen and dining room to flood centre of home with light. Taking timber flooring through to back area (originally tiled) created a continuity and flow.
New kitchen, bathroom, powder room and fresh paint throughout brightened the timber panelling and created a modern home with a classic feel. The result is open, light and bright and cohesive.
