Brief
Complete update to 1970’s home to modernise, refresh and make the spaces more functional, including bathrooms/ laundry. Remove dark cedar panelling, brighten and update. Extend three rooms and update both baths and guest room.
Design
Remove a study to give space to guest bedroom and create larger baths. We used a palette of soft blues, greens, complimented by natural timbers. V-Groove statement joinery plays to the 1970’s style and creates an interesting feature. The design features connect the home to its leafy surrounds, bringing the outside, in.
